We are a Carbon Balanced Printer
18th Dec 2023With sustainability at the heart of our business, we’re proud to share that we are officially a Carbon Balanced Printer — this means, when choosing us for your print, you will also be supporting the World Land Trust to save critically threatened habitats across the world.
As part of our commitment to environmental protection, we support and work with some brilliant environmental charities, organisations and campaigns, including The Woodland Trust, Forest Carbon, FSC and Surfers Against Sewage.
Here are some ways we reduce our carbon footprint…
Working with The Woodland Trust
We work closely with The Woodland Trust, the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity and are the largest contributor to their Carbon Capture Scheme in the South West. We also volunteer our time to take part in local tree planting events, helping to restore native woodland.
Using sustainable materials
We purchase carbon balanced products through carbon offset schemes, supporting UK woodland creation, meaning everything we purchase helps plant more trees.
Becoming FSC Certified
We’re FSC® Certified, meaning our paper purchases are sustainably sourced, using only FSC and recycled stocks, allowing us to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum and demonstrate our commitment to responsible forestry.
Supporting Surfers Against Sewage
We support Surfers Against Sewage, one of the UK’s most active and successful environmental charities. As members of their Ocean Network, we engage with other eco-conscious businesses, helping to drive change and awareness.
Our Achievements
As a business, we are committed to sustainability and constantly seek new ways to help the environment. Here are some of our environmental achievements since 2014:
- We recycle 100% of our waste
- We use 100% green energy
- We removed 804 tonnes of CO2
- We helped create 25,222 m2 of new woodland
- We helped protect 22,245 m2 of threatened habitat
If you want to reduce your environmental impact, choosing sustainable printing is a great way to start.
