Lockdown Love on Hamstead Heath

As a creative printing company, we get to work with many talented individuals and businesses, including artists, illustrators and authors, printing everything from art prints to books. We’re lucky to have helped many self-publishing authors with their books, turning their designs and ideas into a beautifully finished product – we were recently approached by Dee Mclean, a talented UK based artist, to do just that.

Dee came to us to help produce a wonderful little project she had been working on this year, a book named ‘There’s Something About Wallace – Lockdown Love on Hampstead Heath’. It’s a heart-warming tale for all the family to enjoy, telling the love story of two beautiful mute swans which developed on Hampstead Heath in London during the springtime lockdown.

This book is the perfect dose of happiness that we all need as we approach the end of a strange year and with the festive season in sight, it would make the perfect gift for little ones. There’s more good news too, with every sale, a donation goes directly to The Swan Sanctuary with the goal to raise enough to purchase a new kayak for swan rescues on Hampstead Heath.
